From the beginning, the match took place in an atmosphere of very aggressive relationship between players and ended with the score 1-0 in favor of the city of Metz.
After the final whistle footballer of Amiens Joann Paul struck with his fist the opposing team player Pierre Bubi, who as a result has fell on the field. The referee had to demonstrate overly aggressive footballer a red card. This, however, did not alter the situation for the better - on the field having several fights between players of Mets and Amiens. Battle failed to halt for a few minutes. Dogfight took place mainly in the area of the tunnel through which the teams had to - theoretically - to leave the field and head to the locker room.
In the brawl involving more than two dozen people - not just players, but also representatives of the management team.
After learning about the incident, President of the French Professional Football League Frederic Tire demanded "in the shortest period of time" to investigate the incident. He stressed that he considers such events in the world of French football "inadmissible." Meeting of the Disciplinary Commission of the League will be held in the coming days.
