Gary Speed has committed suicide


According to The Telegraph, the head coach of Wales Gary Speed was found dead yesterday at his home in Chester. Death was caused by hanging. The police found no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death  of Speed. It is assumed that the 42-year-old coach committed suicide. The family of the deceased so far refused to comment.

Playing career of Gary Speed lasted 22 seasons (1988-2010). He spoke at the position of midfielder for Leeds, Everton, Newcastle, Bolton and Sheffield United. For the national team of Wales Speed had 85 matches and scored 7 goals. Speed began his coaching career in the Sheffield United and in 2010 headed for Wales.
